Main objective of Incord Foundation is PUBLIC CORD BLOOD BANKING
The umbilical cord functions as a lifeline between mother and the baby. After baby’s delivery, umbilical cord and placenta attached is discarded as a medical waste.
It can Be Preserved and used In Treatment of Over 80+ Medical Conditions such as Anaemia, Leukaemia and Bone Marrow Cancers can be treated with cord blood stem cells.
There are around 300+ on-going clinical trials for regenerative therapies including Cerebral Palsy, Type 1 Diabetes, Heart Diseases etc...
For >90% of blood disorders, matching donor is required as own stem cells are not useful. Since the best way of finding a match is with a Siblings, external donors or with the Private Cord Blood Banks *
*NOTE : (Private cord Blood Banks) – Who will store cord blood at higher price and are not affordable by most of the parents of similar ethnic background.

MAJOR BENEFITS of becoming member for INCORD
We are working in five different phases, currently we are working in First phase of infrastructure setup, we are looking for MEMBER DONORS and all monetary contributions towards INCORD FOUNDATION are subject to 80G exemptions.
Parents who have missed storing their baby’s cord blood cells at the time of delivery have an opportunity to get the same benefits as the parent who have stored their baby’s cord blood cells.
When repository has single matching cells unit available, priority preference will be given to the member donors.
HLA Typing/Matching test is cost efficient with INCORD FOUNDATION as there is no necessity of multiple donor testing required.
Monetary contributions towards INCORD FOUNDATION are subject to 80G tax exemptions.

We will provide high end research platform to Doctors, Scientists, Clinical Pathologists and Lab Technicians for more innovative solutions using Cord Blood Cell and Placenta.
EDUCATION
We will Support students in their education who want to build their career in Stem Cells domain and educate the importance of Cord Blood Cells storage to rural and urban people.
